Aberdare National Park is a characterised by picturesque and steep forested ravines and open moorland.
The valleys are traversed by streams and rivers against the backdrop of the scenic mountain ranges. It is a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, hyenas, leopards, buffalos, bushbucks, colobus monkeys and warthogs.
You can also spot rare animals such as the Giant Forest hog, golden cat, bongo, African wild cat and the serval cat.
